Snubbing China on trade is a strategic mistake
Comments on Friday by Trade Minister Dan Tehan regarding China’s accession to the Indo-Pacific region trade group were a serious fumble.

It is trade and investment, rather than nuclear-powered submarines, that will keep Australia safe and well in the decades ahead.
This makes comments late last week from Dan Tehan, the Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment, concerning China, all the more regrettable.
